I guess it would also be nice to include a paypal reward/coupon. Would be beneficial to those that could use some additional money for their expenses that uses paypal

I regret to say, I doubt they would do this anytime soon. A lot of the points they’ve given away (especially to older users like myself with 1,000+ points) would be financially detrimental for their business to fulfill. Why do you think the gift cards are still limited and on timers? I believe it’s to control the amount of monetary withdrawals we as users can make, to ensure Gener8 continues to generate profits from everything else (ads, offers etc). It could be years before they are in a position to introduce an instant cash reward like paypal. I hope I’m wrong, though, because it would be nice.

The only short term solution I can think of is: reduce the £ value of points if a user wishes to cash out instantly. Currently it’s 10 points for every £1. They would probably make it 100 points for every £1. As a user, I would hate this, because it would feel like I’m being cheated. I feel bad for even suggesting the idea lol.

Yeah this is a long way off, there’s some people with 1k+ points, there’s some of us that adopted this pretty much day one with 5k+, if you take current values based on 10 points per pound, and the fact this still feels almost like a startup, we’d cripple them almost instantly because they’d be a rush to find SOME use for the points.

Honestly, I don’t know how this ever makes it out of beta and ever makes it out of small gift cards..

Yup, this is going to take a very long time to setup, if ever. Time to quit this scam

I mean it’s hardly a scam, it’s just (at present) really bloody slow, it’s still by all definitions free stuff

Oh dear, they’ve already started to reduce the value of the points on the gift cards. Some of the cards are worth £5 but being sold for 100 points instead of 50. Not sure if this is new or I’ve missed it before. Very disappointed.

They obviously don’t care.
They just want businesses to think they’re genuine good people. When they’re not.

Like?? People is just gonna uninstall and report them.

If their a small company and they’re saying it gonna take time, then why would you come up with this bogus idea?

I’ve seen small companies keep their promises and they deliver.

This is basically wasting people’s time and energy.

That’s really bad.

Hi Latraysa, as I said I only joined last night, and I’m waiting for A phn call or txt with codes , I think our data is just been havested as has been suggested, well we should except that, as that’s what they all do , and Google is th we biggest culprit and what do they give back nada? I’m already thinking of closing up shop, I don’t read any replies from gener8 well at least they publish your review unlike some who only except 5 stars when they not worth one ?

Yes this would also be a better option for those of us who are not in the UK too.

Here in Aus they have the app on the AppStore, with words “Earn from your Data” included multiple times.

But it’s only once you install the app and give them your data that you then find out - actually you won’t be allowed to earn from your data. You’re just donating it to them.

They try and tell us to just keep going with it though because they’ll offer rewards for your country “in the near future”.

Considering the app has been available in Aus for at least a year, how far away is “the near future” to them?

Anyway- why would they offer rewards outside of UK now, when people have been willingly donating their data for free on the mere promise of getting rewards in future. The “future” never comes.
